AgoraTV is unwavering in its commitment to eradicating modern slavery and aims to be the most secure digital media platform globally. We have zero tolerance for any form of modern slavery or human trafficking within our platform, collaborations, or supply chain.

This declaration, in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act, Australia Modern Slavery Act, and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, delineates the actions undertaken by AgoraTV to ensure the absence of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations, partnerships, and supply chains.

Our Commitment

AgoraTV is resolute in its opposition to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking, acknowledging these as criminal acts and breaches of fundamental human rights. We are dedicated to upholding integrity and reducing the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business activities, ensuring the respectful and dignified treatment of all employees, partners, and vendors, maintaining safe working environments, and conducting our operations in an environmentally responsible and ethical manner.

Our Policies

AgoraTV ensures that no activities related to modern slavery or human trafficking occur on our platform, within our business, or in our supply chain. We maintain a Code of Conduct & Business Ethics that outlines our expectation for all employees to act with integrity and comply with all relevant laws, including those pertaining to modern slavery and human trafficking. Our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy explicitly prohibit content that depicts, promotes, or refers to escort services, sex trafficking, or prostitution. Any violations by employees or suppliers may lead to disciplinary action or termination of contracts.

Risk Assessment

We continuously evaluate risks within our business environment, focusing on areas of higher risk and adjusting our processes and controls based on evolving risks. The risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our direct business operations is relatively low, but we remain vigilant, particularly in regions where we engage contractors outside the United Kingdom and United States.

Risk Mitigation Efforts

We strive to mitigate risks identified in previous statements and are committed to reporting on key actions moving forward. This includes thorough verification of creators, enhanced content moderation, contractual obligations for contractors and agency staff to comply with laws and our policies, and consideration of relevant provisions in commercial agreements with manufacturers.

Community Reporting and Law Enforcement Assistance

We have expanded our support functions to address concerns from our users and the broader community. We encourage the reporting of content that suggests immediate physical danger related to human trafficking to compliance@agoratv.com. AgoraTV collaborates with law enforcement and NGOs to identify and disrupt illicit activities related to modern slavery and human trafficking.

Investments and Partnerships

AgoraTV invests in detecting content related to human exploitation and partners with NGOs, helplines, and charities to support our stringent policies on safeguarding our creators, fans, and workforce.

Transparency & Reporting

AgoraTV is committed to creating the safest social media platform and regularly publishes data to verify our actions in our Transparency Reports.

Third-Party Providers

We acknowledge the critical role every business plays in addressing modern slavery and are dedicated to monitoring our practices and those of our partners to ensure compliance with our ethical standards and values. Our standard terms and conditions require our third-party providers to adhere to all relevant laws, and we reserve the right to terminate the contractual relationship if the third party engages in any illegal activity.

Our Reporting Mechanisms

We foster a culture of transparency, honesty, and accountability, enabling employees to report concerns or violations. Any issues raised regarding suppliers or contractors are investigated, and appropriate corrective action is taken if necessary.

Our Ongoing Commitment to Continuous Improvement

AgoraTV's efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking are continuous and adaptive. We are committed to maintaining and enhancing our practices, staying informed about changes in relevant legislation, and monitoring potential risk areas.
